The federal state of Styria awards the Forschungspreis für Simulation und Modellierung to researchers working in the fields of simulation and modelling, as well as the subcategories basic research and/ or university research, economic use, and promoting young talent. Through this, the State of Styria wants to encourage young scientists to reach bigger scientific achievements. The name of the LEC project entry is “Auf Simulationsbasis zum weltweit höchsten Wirkungsgrad von Großgasmotoren – Hocheffiezientes Verbrennungskonzept für den neuen 9,5 MW Gasmotor J920 von GE”.
