The APOLO ammonia project: new insights
The aim of the EU's APOLO project is to enable the use of ammonia in shipping, thereby making a significant contribution to the decarbonisation of the maritime sector. Work successfully started in early 2024. Two new videos provide an insight into the objectives of this important project to promote green shipping.
The APOLO consortium consists of 12 partners from 7 different countries. Each partner was selected on the basis of their outstanding achievements in their specific industrial or research field. Activities are well started, as demonstrated by the results of the M6 consortium meeting in June 2024 at the Hamburg Port Authority headquarters in Hamburg and the presentation of the project at the LEC Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum (LSSTF for short).
