LEC illuminates for “Orange the World”

The UN campaign “Orange the World” has been raising awareness of violence against women and girls since 1991: from the International Day to End Violence against Women on November 25 to December 10, Human Rights Day. This year, the UNiTE campaign is #NoExcuse during the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence under the slogan “Every [11] minutes a woman is killed”. UNiTE to End Violence against Women” to draw attention to the alarming escalation of violence against women.

Violence against women is still one of the most widespread human rights violations.
This year, the LEC is once again supporting the UN campaign “Orange The World” to send a strong signal against violence against women. The advancement of women and gender diversity are very important to the Large Engines Competence Center, or LEC for short. We see ourselves as a family-friendly, multicultural and interdisciplinary employer and, as a research institution, we offer young people from different disciplines the opportunity of training at an international level and thus excellent and long-term job prospects – an important prerequisite for a self-determined life.
